Successful Launch of Miramar Trophy at Antigua Sailing Week 2015

“The trophy has just arrived and we are knocked out by it!” This is the type of email you just love, especially when it’s come all the way from sunny Antigua and is from a new client. The email was kindly sent by Brian the owner of Miramar Sailing Club in Antigua and went onto say: “It is way better than the photograph you sent, and quite simply beautiful! We will be very proud when it is presented at Antigua Sailing Week. Our sincere thanks to your team for an excellent design and manufacturing project”.

This elegant trophy illustrates how the EFX design studio is expert at combining distinctive design with texture, to stunning effect. The sails, representing the Miramar Sailing logo, are finished in contrasting polished and brushed nickel plated aluminium, whilst the gradation of the black hull is achieved with pierced layers, transformed with an anodised finish.

The Miramar Sailing Club is at the heart of the sailing scene in Antigua; it runs a recognised RYA Sailing School, offshore cruising vacations and day and race charters from its base at Jolly Harbour. The Miramar Sailing.com Trophy was won by an Oyster 82 called “Starry Night of the Caribbean”
